Cornflower Blue Sea Glass
This soft shade of light blue sea glass is one of the most sought after and rare colors of sea glass. Just one in five hundred pieces of sea glass are this ocean-blue color.
This softer-than-cobalt hue originates from Pre-1900 Phillips Milk Of Magnesia bottles, Vick's Vapor Rub jars, Bromo Seltzer bottles, and ink wells. Sea glass in this shade was also made from pressed glass tableware produced from 1930 - 1950.
When you find this color of sea glass at the beach, you have my permission to be excited. This type of sea glass can date back more than one hundred years and is super rare and special.
